WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER HEALING

Week 1: Minor redness, bruising, swelling and tenderness. Enhancement may appear patchy as tiny scabs form and come away.

Week 2: The enhancement will appear paler. Depending on your skin complexion the pigment can appear very dark or very pale.

Week 3: The colour starts to come back to the surface of the skin.

There is no downtime but you will experience redness and swelling immediately after the procedure for the first 5 days this is normal.

Over the next 8 – 12 weeks the redness will subside and the areas that were treated will go through a variety of shades (from dark to light) until your skin heals.

HOW MANY SESSIONS IS REQUIRED ?

Once the skin is healed, the scar(s) looks "invisible" to the human eye. This treatment provides permanent results, usually 2/3 sessions are needed but treatment sessions can varies depending on the severity of the case and everyone’s case if different.

When the skin has healed, we can then assess how the ink is settling and healing in the scar and decide if any further treatments are needed.
